We’re looking for someone practical and reliable to help us look after our rowing fleet. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable with tools, enjoys problem-solving, and has an experience in repairing rowing boats.
What’s involved:
Supporting with general maintenance across our fleet of rowing boats
Handling ad hoc repairs – some routine, some more involved
Helping ensure our boats are safe and remain in use
Time commitment:
On average, one weekend a month – though this may vary. It’s likely to be busier in the summer months and quieter over winter, but it should balance out over the year.
We're looking for someone who:
Has basic repair or maintenance experience (doesn’t need to be marine-specific)
Works well independently and takes pride in doing a good job
Is organised and responsive, especially when something urgent comes up
