Several people have been scammed by users selling speed coaches and other items (generally under £500).
Please try to collect the item in person as they usually promise to send you the item by post.
Once you transfer the money the buyer cuts all contact.
If you are recieving the items by post be sure to only send the money via a service like Paypal so that you can get the money back from Paypal if you have proof that the item was never sent.
If you are using PayPal use the "business transfer" option NOT the "family and friends" option ("family and friends" option has no way of getting the money back from the scammers!)

Owing to the collapse of a tenant club, Balliol College BC are selling the following items:

STILL AVAILABLE: 1998 Aylings eight, wood shouldered, assumed 85kg. In fair condition for age, but has been stored outside unused for 3-4 years now and is very dirty inside and out. All seats riggers shoes included. Needs a repair to the stern point. 2/3rds split. Asking £500 but any offer considered.

NOW SOLD. 2003-4 Stampfli eight, shoulderless design, assumed 70kg. In fair condition for age, all shoes and seats included and 3 extra (mirror) riggers. Always stored indoors. Hull in good condition overall, a few rigger dinks showing but filled with resin. Asking £2500.

NOW SOLD. Set of eight Concept2 Smoothie2 blades, ca. 2007. Long length (373-378cm). Blue handles - fairly worn would benefit from replacement. Asking £600 for the set.
