Thames Tradesmen’s Rowing Club is seeking a rowing coach to
lead our Masters Racing Squad. The club is based at the University of London
Boathouse, Chiswick, West London and rows along the length of the Thames
Tideway from Putney up to Richmond Lock.
The club have just over 50 Masters members of which 25 compete regularly
on the Tideway, at local Heads and Regattas as well as the British Masters
Championships in Nottingham. We offer
members a welcoming environment, the use of a comprehensive range of boats and
access to ergo equipment for land training. The club also runs a twice yearly
Learn to Row programme from which most of the Racing Squad have graduated. We are looking to build on the success of the
creating a dedicated Racing Squad from our Learn-to-Row programme and take the
squad to the next level of personal achievement and crew performance.

Start date: 7th September 2026
Location: ULBC, 81 Hartington Road,
Chiswick. London W4 3TU
Hours: 2 x 90 minute sessions one weekday morning (Friday
preferred)

Key
Responsibilities

Lead on-water coaching sessions

individuals to support skill development and crew performance

Devise structured land training programme to
improve fitness and support on-water development
Qualifications
·
British rowing Level 2 Coaching qualification
(or equivalent) preferred
·
Power Boat Level 2 qualification (RYA or
equivalent)
·
First Aid Qualification
·
Knowledge of the Tideway Code
