Warning - Please read!!
- Several people have been scammed by users selling speed coaches and other items (generally under £500).
- The scammer can often actaully own a stokecoach/speedcoach or blades etc, and can also show you a video of the item - this is no guarantee that the item is real or that you will receive it.
- Please try to collect the item in person as they usually promise to send you the item by post.
- If you do a bank transfer please only do it once you have seen the item (ideally in person!) and are satisfied with it - once you transfer the money the scammers can cut all contact and you will have little recourse.
- If you are recieving the items by post be sure to only send the money via a service like Paypal so that you can get the money back from Paypal if you have proof that the item was never sent.
- If you are using PayPal use the "business transfer" option NOT the "family and friends" option ("family and friends" option has no way of getting the money back from the scammers!)
Genuine Concept2 Model C indoor rowing machine in really good, clean and well-kept condition.
I’ve recently upgraded to a newer Concept2 Model D, so I no longer need this one.
The rowing machine itself is in genuinely good condition and rows as it should. I’ve recently given it a thorough clean, including opening, cleaning and dusting the inside of the flywheel/drum. I’ve included photos showing the condition inside as well as the rest of the machine.
The only known issue is the original PM2+ performance monitor. It recently stopped working properly. Occasionally the LCD shows partial signs of life, as shown honestly in the photos, but it isn’t functioning correctly or responding reliably, so please consider the monitor faulty/non-working.
I’ve tried fresh batteries but haven’t diagnosed the problem beyond that. As I’ve already upgraded to a Model D, I don’t have any need to spend more time trying to repair it.
Concept2 still supports the Model C with replacement parts, and a PM5 retrofit/upgrade kit is available directly from Concept2 for anyone who wants to upgrade the monitor.
Aside from the monitor issue, this is a very solid, clean and well-kept Concept2 rower with plenty of life left in it.
Inspection and testing are absolutely welcome before purchase.
